The decor is absolutely stunning! 😍 I felt right at home with the cozy atmosphere and the delicious homemade biscuits in my room. A minor drawback was the lack of a full-length mirror.

Good hotel with its free wi-fi, relaxing bar area, and friendly staff. I remember they helped me retrieve my forgotten headphones on my first stay. I wholeheartedly recommend it and can't wait to return for Xmas.

    Best anniversary getaway!

Wow, what a stay! We got a complimentary drink when we arrived, which was much needed after our long drive. The decor and the bed in our room were just stunning! The breakfast was full of flavor and choice too. Only thing was the shower could’ve been a bit better, but it didn’t ruin anything. Really peaceful and relaxing vibe here.

Stunning Victorian gardens, beautifully decorated rooms, unique spa treatments

An odd self-check-in process could be clearer!!! The absence of bath mats or grab rails in bathrooms really impacts comfort!!! Parking spaces need improvement during peak seasons!!!

The homemade cakes at check-in were a lovely touch, and the stunning garden views made our mornings delightful. The breakfast menu was extensive but could use a bit more variety.

    cozy atmosphere
    delicious breakfast
    street noise

great stay , but a bit noisy at times

The hosts welcomed us warmly with drinks by the fireplace, which was a lovely touch. Our massive, immaculate room featured delightful biscuits, and the breakfast selections were diverse and delicious.

The street noise could be bothersome at times.

    fabulous breakfast

Couples looking for a romantic getaway

We arrived to a fantastic greeting with a welcome drink and a thorough map of the area-like a secret agent in a new world. The breakfast was honestly a highlight, a real feast that catered to my every need.

It wasn't exactly cheap but, in the end, worth every single penny.

    lovely gardens

    absence of staff
    underwhelming breakfast

The Old Rectory has its charms, with lovely gardens and friendly staff, yet there were times when the absence of staff made the place seem deserted. The breakfast was nice, but a bit underwhelming for the price. it was a pleasant experience despite some quirks.
